Let's get to know each other!
My name is Alexandra Zapiti and I am a registered School Psychologist. My journey in the field of mental health began in 2014, when I made the decision to study in London, specifically in the Department of Psychology at City, University of London. Completing my studies in 2017 (Bsc Hons Psychology), I made the decision to develop myself further academically and after being accepted by City, University of London, I completed a Diploma in Counselling Psychology in 2018 (Graduate Certificate in Counselling Psychology).
Throughout my academic career and alongside my experience in various contexts and my own personal experience, I have been fascinated by the magical world of children. So, I made the decision to explore it further and develop myself further so that I can offer the right help when there is a need. Along the way, I decided to continue my studies at Master’s level in London, completing my Masters in 2019 in Msc Child and Adolescent Mental Health at UCL (Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, University College London). My final destination was my decision to pursue and complete a second Master’s degree in Cyprus in 2021 in School/Educational Psychology (Msc) at the University of Nicosia, alongside the completion of 1200 hours as part of my practicum in various settings (schools and mental health centres) with children and adolescents.
I am proud to inform you that the aim of this page is to support, inspire and remind parents, carers, teachers and children of the importance of promoting their mental health.
